The earth is God's garden. Let us tend it with care.

The success of this garden is due to many things, including:

Financial support from the Rogers Trust, and the Meetinghouse Fund.

Design and planning by the Garden Committee.

Healthy native plants which were purchased from Sweet Grass Gardens, Six Nations Reserve.

Planting the cedar hedge, fall 1998

Planting help from Young Friends of south Ontario who put in the cedar hedge in October 1998 when the soil was as hard as rock. Pick axes were needed to make the planting holes.

Hamilton Meeting members who helped plant, and later came along with newspapers to help smother weeds under the mulch.

First Day School planted seedlings, spring 2001

Our First Day School, who also grew, and later planted seedlings of wildflowers for the butterfly garden.

Faithful friends have weeded, watered and watched over the garden.
